Ace Clothing – is Ace!

There is a fantastic little boutique in the Piece Hall in Halifax… and before you say anything – it fits with my secondhand clothing pledge because its all secondhand and pre-loved.

Ace has been in Piece Hall for years and years and the owner’s daughter has opened an offshoot boutique version next door to the original business. The girl who runs it is friendly and trendy and the stock is always great. There is a mix of lower end high street all the way up to the odd ‘All Saints’ or ‘Jane Norman’ find.

Items start from £2 and I have never seen anything at more than £10. I spent almost £40 on Saturday and got some lovely items – as you can see.

My haul

  • 1 dress
  • 5 tops
  • 2 pairs of earrings
  • 1 necklace
  • Plus a scarf for a friend’s birthday.

A very colourful hoard! I love it at Ace! Plus the Piece Hall is well worth a visit – see it before they transform it into something altogether more swish in 2013.

  1. nothing like finding great clothes for a bargain! You and I would have great fun scrounging through though the op shops here! Dad taught me to find a bargain well, it was our favourite hobby when I was a kid! 😉
